Love the Indiana highlight. Washington throws a side pass and Indy INT's for a Pick 6. First time Indy is 8-0 since 1967. I'm pretty sure they're regularly at the bottom of the B10, so it's awesome to see.

Seriously, I have no life.
But in my defense, I actually play golf haven't bowled in decades. :)
I was a good bowler and golfer but the injury to my knee ended both- I could never finish the same way in bowling (right-handed, so I would need to flex my left leg for the slide) and I won't be able to golf at the same level as before unless I have surgery and it's successful because I need a stronger left leg in order to finish my swing. I have golfed since the injury, but I have just about zero feel for my short chip shots, so my scores reflect that. OTOH, I can still golf, so it's not all darkness. If I hadn't been taught that standing stiff-legged is a training method used to stop a bad slice, I may not have gone to the driving range in the first place- it was like a passenger jet plane taking off and turning to the right and there was no 'fade' about it.

As I get older, I'm to the point that I really don't care how much golf I play anymore. Too much of a time and cost commitment. Luckily, I can still chip pretty well but the distance part of my game is long gone. Never was a good bowler. :)

you guys need to try 'golf with a shotgun', it's called sporting clays. I gave up chasing the little white ball 6 years ago. Concentrate on clays now, 800-1000 rounds a month, yes I reload my own shells.

I can still hit the ball for distance, even with the knee- long arms help a lot for clubhead speed. I averaged 80 for a long time, regardless of course- I don't expect to do that soon, but the last time, I shot 52 for 9 and that included 8 shots wasted by bad chips from far enough from the green that a putter wasn't the right club. My parents bowled and they were good- my dad wasn't very good until an old family friend helped with his technique and later, he helped me, too. The problem for me has always been finding shoes and a bowling ball that fits- big hands and clown feet make it difficult.

Unfortunately, I've never owned a shotgun. Currently own and occasionally shoot my 38 and 22 revolvers. Owned a 22 rifle a long time ago. Was always curious about shooting a 12 gauge. Is that what you use for the clays?

Depends. 20 and 12 gauge are popular depending on the size of the individual and personal preference. .

I primarily use my 12ga guns for clays, whenever there is a 5th Sunday in a month my one club sets up what is called a sub-gauge course. Shorter / closer in target presentations more suited to 20, 28 and .410 gauge. My only 20 gauge is a Browning Citori O/U short barrel, English stock. Back in my bird hunting days it was my favorite Grouse gun.

I have only one shot shell press and that is for 12 ga.
