These are subs on Reddit (or subreddits, sort of like sub-forums). either google them or use these address HTTP://reddit.com/r/Gardening or HTTP://reddit.com/r/Houseplants

Reddit has the ability to sort by a few criteria such as hot, top (in various time frames), new, rising, gilded (these posts got someone to spend actual money to "award" or tip (all money goes to Reddit, but posters get bragging rights and with gold awards sometimes few extra virtual rewards)

Reddit points matter little, but once you could get near 100k points you get a special invite to closed subs like CenturyClub where people are a bit more open about personal lives. this sub is currently at under 7k members.
Anyone could create a new sub (assuming one doesn't exist) but the key is to get people to join and stay. Basically, Reddit is so massive it has plenty of niche subs for basically everything. I've been a member for over 9 years and still, I barely know the depths of it.

What have you been up to in your gardens?

I'm planning on buying new furniture for my garden. Mine's pretty old. Any recommendations?
We were thinking about rattan, something like this set: https://www.gardencentreshopping.co.uk/stone-grey-round-rattan-dining-set-reclining-chairs. But not sure how they'll stand the weather conditions. Are they durable?

Still at it. Just harvested one of my African white yams. Basically a giant potato. This one feels to be about 15#. Even though it looks like two, it is actually one. Looks like a giant set of bull balls. I'll let it harden off a few days and then it's on to feeding the world. I treat these just like regular spuds.

Also got some pole and bush beans growing. All heirloom varieties. When I don't have time to garden so much, I always try to plant some beans. I have a neighbor who thought it would be cool to free range some chickens in the city. They are destroying my yard and plants, hence the wire. Ordered a motion sensor sprinkler to see if that keeps them at bay. Really destructive critters left to their own. If the sprinkler doesn't work, or the neighbors don't get a clue, there is no telling what may happen.

Also have sweet potatoes growing pretty much wild, pineapples galore, Ube yams, Blueberries and grapes, among other things. I try to xeriscape as much as possible. There is a lot of food stored in and around the grounds here. I can find sweet potatoes any time I want them. Most of these are low maintenance and highly productive.
