Alternatives to Chord with similar sound profile

Hello, so I really like the sound sigature of the Chrod electronics however alot of their procducts are Very costly.
Are there any other brands that might have a similar sound profile and priced more reasonably?

Well, Chord doe sound different from Marantz or Onkyo or any other amp.
I don't even need to have it in front of me. Just reading the names, it is different in my mind. 

Asked wifey to read the names random 10 time, 100% correct identification. Didn't bother 20 times.
