Hi all!

Recently picked up the Sony STR-AN1000, and while I have plans to pick up their wireless rears and sub, I have this old Bose 3-2-1 one lying around. And wondered if I could use it in the meantime.

Is there anything like a 13-pin to standard sub RCA converter out there?

Pic attached.

Thanks!

Bose is not compatible with anything, so the answer is no.

If you want to hack into the wiring harness just to use them, somewhat possible but probably best just to sell the Bose as-is....no converter I'm aware of....Bose would probably sue them.

Just to expand. Bose is backwards to everything else. The Bose system you have has a head unit, connected to that bass unit, which is not a sub. It is a bass module that also contains, the amp that powers that speaker and the amps that power those miserable satellite speakers. So it in not a sub in the way we understand them.

my dad had a set and I looked at it. The x-over for the satellites is also in the bass module, so you cannot really hack that system. It is worth a lot more as-is, so I'd also recommend selling it.

Let alone a Bose bass module being a "sub" :)
