Can Dirac recognize front channels if they enter AVR via Inputs from stereo amp..?

... Since my front speakers are directly connected to my Stereo integrated amp, I wasn't sure if Dirac calibration would recognize the towers when my stereo amp is on HT Bypass active.
I know everything would be much easier if I wasn't running a dedicated stereo amp, and just connected everything to my AVR. Lol! But; being a 2 channel stereo guy first, and 5.1 listener/viewer second, it's going to be this way. I'm sure there isn't an AVR near my affordability that will sound as good in 2 channel stereo as my Jolida. I love that tube sound!
I appreciate anyone's thought on this!
I think, I am pretty close to ordering an Onkyo RZ50.

Thanks!

You have it backwards.

You connect the right and left preouts to the input of your Jolinda amp and set your stereo amp to HT bypass. You can not connect your stereo amp output to any input on the AVR.

Correct. I've been running this setup since 2011. I mis-worded it. Sorry for the confusion.

For anyone interested, I did find out this morning that Dirac will recognize any external amplifier, and it is suggested that the gain be set at 50% when Dirac is calibrating.
