Call for the doctors with long white coats, here is a good candidate

I think this is so crazy far off I don't even know where to start, like: tuning the impedance of the speaker cables to the source component.... wow

I see way better price/value proposition to buy 1500 bottles of the most insanely nice wine on the market, or 600 bottles of 50 year old malt whisky!

When you have money, people will always look to sell you stuff that is worthless for a lot of that cash.

Is that $80,000 per cable or for a pair? Because for two if you elevate the cables off the floor using these new zero gravity suspension cables hung from the ceiling… lol

At that kind of idiocy, does it really matter?

Came across his videos and never made it 30 seconds in before bouncing it. I also made the error of clicking on the cheapaudio guy video as well and now my youtube searches are contaminated with him popping up on the youtube home page and other audio related video searches. It gets even worse once they sell their souls to youtube and turn it into their day job and apparently have NOTHING else to do but make hundreds of videos that inundate the information stream. Another quack that is to be avoided at all cost is the Iyagi dude and most other fantasy world reviewers these days. It's all turning into that rather sappy, tik tokie, third rate, sell-out celebrity show that all must get handed the same scripts.

I also watched some of the Iyagi videos and managed to watch some till the end…… but I can’t say I agree with him or find any value to me in these things, I agree

I correct myself .... I been to Edradour Whisky distillery outside Pitlochry in Scotland… they have barrel of extremely old malt whisky worth several million dollars each ... I don’t remember the age of that Whisky but I think to remember 55 to 60 years…

However in Norway we can get Gordon & MacPhail Longmorn 1973 for $1136, Blackadder Statement Ladyburn 43 YO Raw Cask No.18 1973 for $2316.... So it's 70 bottles then

I'm not sure if this guy even realizes what a clown he sounds like. He keeps saying to not kill the messenger, he's ONLY the messenger.... Then he says crap like "I'm SURE these cables will improve the sound!" - That's no longer being the messenger. He's a cable pimp. He prostitutes out disease ridden high dollar cables and claims he's just the middleman in the transaction.

Nope, he's the sucker with multi-hundred thousand dollar speakers who is hocking his BS to the masses without a single piece of test equipment in sight. Yeah, just some basic metering would be a basic starting point. This is why I like channels like Linus Tech Tips where they start by saying "This sounds ridiculous..." and then they actually test things and typically prove that ridiculous is exactly the case, then TELL people their money is better spent elsewhere. Wish this guy had the guts to do the same.

When we tested interconnect cables, one of the cables out of the 15 was identifiable in a blind test. Upon measuring we found that inductance was off the charts. We assumed it had a coil wound around the entire thing but the cable belonged to one of the members and we coudn't do an autopsy on it. It makes one wonder why someone would want a signal altering components that couldn't be adjusted or defeated. It wasn't a cheap cable.

Then there's the 6 or so feet of ordinary hook-up wire inside the cabinets that is exempted merely by living inside the magic space within the boxes out of sight and mind, and the crossover components with much of their bare tinned legs just naked to the world with less than noble solder making most of the connection.

It's easier to sound like one knows what they are talking about by adopting the inexplicable fantasy speak instead of the science. You will often come across newbs that may have been in audio for 2 years, so thoroughly versed in the most tool-ish poetry of it all, that you know they will never get over it and will need to be avoided from there on out.

I don't even need to watch the video. I'm SOLD! I've got 10 of them on order right now. Can't wait!!!

Does anybody want any AudioQuest cables??? I'm selling them for $50k. I'm basically giving them away at that price. :p

Seriously, I have no life.
Yup... I have always said the difference in wires is inductance, capacitance, and resistance....none of the other BS.
And, how much of it becomes audible with signals we all listen to.

Someone named a Whisky after a comedy show? And "The company has gained great affection from whisky enthusiasts for its Raw Cask series, which is deliberately drawn un-filtered from the cask so as to retain all cask sediment along with any natural oils and fats."? I never knew Oak had fat in it and it doesn't have oil, either- I have handled and cut wet White Oak- it was wet, but not from oil or fat.
