What can someone tell me about Bluesound?

Seriously, I have no life.
One of my customers was PO'd at Sonos before he called to say that his power amp wasn't turning on and now that I have found that it doesn't have a problem, I found that the Sonos Connect that was in that system lost most of its audio output level. Now, he's REALLY PO'd at them and wants to look into something different.

Any tips, complaints, opinions about ease of use and sound quality without going all 'Chocolaty midrange'?

No experience but seems most folk are quite happy with Bluesound ease of use and sound quality. Not familiar with anything Sonos particularly, my only experience was with a portable speaker a friend had....it wasn't anything exciting but they loved the useability/feature set of Sonos.

The Sonos was beyond warranty I take it?

Just tuning in otherwise....

I’ve got a Bluesound Node 2i. Works flawlessly, never had a single problem. The BluOS app is super user friendly, but I usually go Tidal Connect (through the Tidal app) or Roon. Sound quality is fine (or perfect according the “dac is a dac is a dac” AH crowd) but may be improved upon (I posted a thread a couple months ago comparing my 2i to my Pioneer Elite UDP). It has a Swiss Army knife array of connections and options for such a “simple” unit.

I consider the Node to be the best ~$500 I’ve ever invested in my audio system.

Thanks, I've seriously been thinking about getting one. Works ok with wireless? Good with the RCA outputs into a 3 channel receiver? Compatible with Amazon music? I've read the reviews, and all seem positive, but it is nice to get a fellow Audioholics take. Thanks again.
