I agree with you about Disney. For the relocation, I had that in mind as well but where else is a state that already draws a large vacationing visitor clientele.

Would a threat to relocate, fire thousands of people, wake up the populus to get rid of this administration? Getting rid of the governor may not be enough.

I don't think relocation would ever be in the cards. It would have to be to a state with a similar climate. California already has Disneyland and the surrounding states all have Republican-run governments with similar mindsets to Florida's. And, can you imagine the cost of such a move?

Look, this all about control. The control to develop what Disney currently controls. Reedy Creek allows Disney to control growth and development around their parks, exactly what Disneyland didn't have. Like most Republicans in Florida including DeSantis are owned by development interests. Reedy Creek is prime real estate for development which ultimately leaves the tax payer holding the bag. At least with Disney in control, they pick up the tab for all services provided in the area.

Disney + Fritz Hollings have done an incredible amount of damage and Steamboat Willie and early M.M. should have been in the public domain a long time ago.
