People say 1-2-4 subs is fine but 3 isn’t ?
Listening to Gene's excellent videos on room acoustics and bass, it seems like 1, 2, or 4 subs are discussed, whereas a 3 sub setup is overlooked/bypassed. Is there any reason that 3 subs may be SUB-optimal? If not, what is the best placement for 3? A triangle?

This guy says 3 is considered bad but he had no links to who is actually saying this so it’s like a rumor or hearsay at this point .
I’ll add more info if I get a response to is this a legit common myth or something??we’res the proof haah I asked .
