Will dipoles work in this setup or should I get a more tradition MT bookshelf?

I'm redoing my dedicated theater room. As with many rooms, it does have its challenges. I currently have a traditional MT style bookshelf speaker suspended from the ceiling.

Problem is only one speaker can be wall mounted in the correct location. The other three correct locations are in front of windows. I was looking to upgrade my 7.2.4 setup with an Arendal 1723 setup. They have a dipole surround https://arendalsound.com/product/1723-surround-thx/ and a tradition MT bookshelf https://arendalsound.com/product/1723-bookshelf-s-thx/. My understanding is dipoles need to be against walls to perform well. FYI the treadmill in the photos is being sold so it won't be there. So I figure I have the following options.

1. Hang the bookshelf at the correct height and location just like my current setup. https://photos.app.goo.gl/kqteEe7bTnL93Vh76 https://photos.app.goo.gl/2UCXf5MGJg7dFznt7
2. Wall mount the dipoles at the correct height, but not the ideal horizontal position. https://photos.app.goo.gl/aE9Vv57JB49KRXzP9 https://photos.app.goo.gl/DiSdLcrpsbbFAp6U8
3. Ceiling mount the dipoles down firing
4. Ceiling mount the bookshelf using speaker mounts to aim at the listening area

What would you do?

Your surrounds are far too near the back wall. I would not use dipoles.

I'm confused. I thought dipoles are supposed to be wall mounted. The Arendal 1723 surrounds come with wall brackets for mounting on the wall.

Dipole surrounds are out of favor. You can wall mount monopoles if you want to.

I believe he means they are too far back in the room to be effective as bi/dipole.

Yes, or even as monopoles.
I’ve never seen speakers suspended like that it looks like a folded tightrope. :D

here, how far from listening position are your surrounds?
Why are dipoles an option? Are you close to them?

So would you just do option one and hang the bookshelfs just like they are? The back wall speakers are about 2 feet behind the listening area.

The surrounds from Arendal are more of a hybrid. They have a front facing tweeter and 8" driver. They also have two 4" drivers in a dipole arrangement crossed at 200 Hz. The more I have been reading up on monopole vs dipole in an Atmos setup I'm kind of confused on what benefit this hybrid type setup would have. From what I have read, as your speaker count goes up, it is better to use monopole speakers since you have more speakers and are able to better pinpoint the desired sound location. Any thoughts?

I had good success with these but switched to bookshelves because surrounds are slightly in-front of my by 3 feet no room behind me.
