Why is it so hard to find a integrated amp with the 3 things I want ?

I ended up getting the Onkyo RZ-50 and I like it, except for the feet. Instead of a thin piece of rubber on the bottom of the plastic feet like other avrs I've seen they put cork material. I really dislike it, just pushing the avr in my cabinet a couple of pieces of cork came off. I'll admit though my cabinet shelve has a rough texture more then normal, but still why cork. I could leave it alone but I won't cause I tend to have to move stuff often. I'll have to scrap off the cork and replace with some self adhesive rubber pads. What else can I do...do they sell replacement feet somewhere ?

EVERY hardware store sells feet; shave a better assortment, but I would ask- how often do you need to move this on the shelf? If you have access from behind, just use rubber but if they don't screw into the bottom, call Onkyo and have them send replacements.

Are these small diameter, square....? If the feet are plastic with a thin piece of cork, you could try Velcro (the loop side, not the hooks)- it slides easily, has adhesive on the back and work better than cork.

I think those are good general guidelines that you might have read or heard. In reality, "how much of a difference" would depend on a number of things. You can easily find out if you take the trust your ears approach, otherwise take some measurements with a good mic and REW (more work but probably more fun that way).

Without going into deep details I have pets and the 28" stand seem to be more wobbly. That's why I want to get the 24" ones would be more stable with them.

Yeah it takes weight as you get taller with stands and substantial stands can get up there in price.

Sometimes, if you can, filling them can help with stability, too. Rambunctious kids/pets, though can be tough....

The same is true for the lower-end POWERNODE Edge and the higher-end NAD streaming amplifiers like the M10 V2, C 399, or C 3050.

I might have missed it, but it seems like the Bluesound POWERNODE for $1000 meets all of your requirements, including ability to drive a 2.1 configuration, WiFi + Ethernet, and HDMI eARC. The same is true for the lower-end POWERNODE Edge and the higher-end NAD streaming amplifiers like the M10 V2, C 399, or C 3050.

I ended up getting a nice AVR, I don't know if with a Bluesound POWERNODE if I would always be having to open the app at all the time, which would get old. I don't know if it would allow me just to open my TV and have sound on automatically. Right now when I turn my TV on my receiver turns on automatically which is nice. Would the blue sound turn on the Rotel automatically also ?

They do have HDMI CEC, so the TV will turn on the POWERNODE and visa-versa. However, the POWERNODE is an integrated amplifier and does not have pre-outs, so if you want to use an external Rotel amp, you'd need something like the NODE, which has pre-outs as well as a 12V trigger out to turn the amp on.

That said, if you already have an AVR, I think you are in good shape. It's the best solution for a TV because it can decode all codecs. The Bluesound products can decode Dolby codecs, but not DTS.
