Was watching a video on tornados and their size. Now they're potentially projecting EF6 scenarios. In terms of size it's believe the 2013 El Reno was the largest. 2.6 miles wide, 302 mph. Had it traveled a little longer it would've hit OK City. There's a video on YT called Lessons from El Reno. Storm Chasers. Can't remember his name but famous scientist who died driving a Chevy Cobalt of all things. There were chasers caught in the outskirts of the tornado, but even those winds were 100mph. They'd have the pedal down and could only go about 30mph. Close in size were Joplin and Moore. Joplin they showed an aerial shot and the thing literally drove right through the town. I think that was an area where false tornado warnings were accustomed, and this one was real. At night. The other problem. There's also classic tornado videos on YT. There's one back in the 90s ah from TX I think. Guy does a 360 with his camera and there's FOUR tornados on the ground in a field. Pretty incredible. The adrenaline rush.

Mark's recent thread about he got his old tape deck fixed, inspired me to (successfully) self-repair my Cuisinart Toaster.
Lots of self-pat on the back ensues. $50 saved and less garbage.
My wife finally tested negative for the beer-virus. I'll take small victories.

I'll give you a virtual pat on the back...and nothing else

I unclogged a drain that had enough hair for my wife to have a nice wig should she ever go bald. Yuck

Yeah, I don't know why that's always my job. Every time I clear out the mass of hair from the shower drain, I yell out, "Once again, why is this my job!?" I never get a response...

Then, I follow up with, "FYI, that's not a dead rat in the garbage!" to nobody in particular...

There are three with long hair in my house. Luckily only one of them uses my shower.

Now I get to look at the shower the smaller long haired people use and see why it's draining slow.

If only there was something to point me in the right path...

I plug the drain until there's a few inches of water and then start plunging like a raped ape, naked and wet from the shower's spray. :D
I'd be needing lots of reddit.com/r/EyeBleach before I could get that mental image out of my head.

"Today at 4:55AM" - Is that how early you woke up or are you still partying from yesterday?

Good times for the last ~16 hours or so. Did a whirlwind trip to Ohio for my niece’s birthday, which was nice. The ride home…less so. About thirty mins after dinner, and three hours from home, the younger son ralphs and chucks all over the place. Heavy thunderstorms are naturally in the area, which made cleanup at a rest stop super fun. Just tossed his clothes, and booster seat in a dumpster, and we had some cleaning materials available at least.

Fast forward to this morning, picked up the dog from the sitter and did a deep clean… Naturally while I’m doing this, the dog (who to be fair is pushing 14) pinches one off in the house . Serenity now, serenity now, serenity now….
