Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins dies at 50

The longtime drummer for the megaplatinum band has died. On Saturday, Colombian officials released a statement, saying they found evidence of 10 types of substances in Hawkins' body.

Just saw this and I am shocked too. He was a big part of one of the films about drummers I really enjoyed last year "Count Me In..." He really was a great drummer.

It apparently occurred as fans were already at the venue waiting for a show.

It is fun, but don't expect top tier acting or a complex story. They're members of a rock band playing themselves in a comedy horror. It's a "B" movie feel but with decent production. Taylor actually has a major part in it tho and if you're a fan of the band I don't see how you wouldn't like it. Some dumb fun with a fun band.

Out of the whole group I think Taylor and Dave actually displayed some decent acting chops, and Taylor has a lot of scenes. Their bass player tho... oof.

Hawkins wasn't their first, but he was in the band longer than the others. He was in Foo Fighters for half of his life!

Yeah that was part of the video I posted, but will he do it going forward, tho? What will "Foo Fighters" be....that particular group or will Dave move forward with something perhaps related but new?
