It's run by a gentleman named Klaus Schwab. Some love him, some think he's the devil. They have Al Gore on their board so one has to come to there own conclusions. Anyway, membership is $620,000 per year. If you earn over 500,000 per year, you are in the 1%. Safe to say they are the elite. As Carlin used to say, "its a big club and you ain't in it".

It is claimed that Schwab is a great believer in the "Great Reset", a book written some years ago by Richard Florida. Their plan is to follow UN agenda of 2030 which was proposed when Schwab was at the UN..

I was just asking a question but their philosophy worries me. The "You'll own nothing and like it" is a problem.

You have to look at it from their point of view. They'll own everything but not like it. But they will do it because its for our own good you see.

While there is plenty to be critical about regarding the WEF, it seems that rational discussions of it can't happen without the craziest of conspiracy theories being voiced.

Happiness aside, do you really expect to own nothing by 2030? 2040?

Bunch of rich elites fly in to Davos once a year in their private jets. Think some politicians attend also. They want to tell all of us how to live, Green energy issues and the like. Anyway emphasis on rich elites tell us common types how to live

No doubt it featured the typical rich/poor dynamics of a South American country but Caracas had areas that rivaled NYC for fun and culture.

At this point, I don't think anyone can be certain of much- if Russia continues and especially if China goes into Taiwan, it's going to be really ugly.
