By the way Biden and his team are acting, and saying or implying an invasion is sure to happen, its almost like HE WANTS it to happen. Maybe a way to bolster his dying economy. We do NOT need a war, been there done that twice ( by serving) in my life.
It's not that. They just aren't interested in stopping people from illegally crossing borders. Just let it all build up into a crisis.

More accurately, we occupied Nicaragua and Haiti throughout the 1920's and the Dominican Republic until the mid-1920s
You'll note that I stated "many other factors were involved". More accurately, you should compare the impact of the military spending vs. US GDP involved with Nicaragua, Haiti, and the DR to other much greater wars.
If you can prove that they are close to matching the levels of WW1, WW2, Korea, First Gulf War, Vietnam I'll gladly cede the point.

What's pretty sad is your obsession. The beginning of that segment from Watter's does the opposite of what you constantly try to prove. It was a reasoned articulation and defense of Biden's approach that Watters allowed the FOX viewers to be exposed to...que terrible!
You would be better served coming to your own conclusions instead of getting them from Brian Cohen.

Seriously, I have no life.
Only the 1920s and 1980s were clear of war as far as the US was concerned. Many other factors were involved but both decades had two major things in common. Presidents that were deregulating with tax cuts and the economy was robust and still created a ton of new technology.
Sorry, but the US wasn't totally uninvolved during the '80s. Grenada was a short involvement, but it was the reason 'Heartbreak Ridge' was made.

My friend was there- said it was a complete waste of time.

Agree with you that they were wastes of time. I too had friends there and thankfully Grenada did not produce many casualties. Our other involvements in the 80s included our sticking our nose into the Middle East again. My childhood neighbor was killed in the Marine Barrick's bombing in Beirut in 1983.
The question is did those military involvements have a great impact on GDP like other wars.
I always watch Heartbreak Ridge when its on.

Grenada was a PR campaign to make Reagan look good.

Maybe. Don't think the Grenadians felt that way. Most countries where Castro had troops were not exactly beacons of freedom. Before you say that Cubans were not there in a military capacity, my previously mentioned friends captured a few and some of them were injured falling up a flight of stairs. What a shame.

That speech was rather frightening at over an hour long.
He's not going to just nibble on the Donbas. He's going further than that.
Going long NOC.

We here at Fox News deny any attempt to undermine the current administration's dealings with the Russia/Ukraine crisis. Gutfeld's "manufactured" and Tucker's "who cares if Ukraine is a democracy!" are not what you think they meant. Jesse Watters was grinning because he's especially happy to hear the US are dealing with the crisis competently under this administration. Fox News has and will continue to seek the truth in its broadcasting. :)

It will be most interested to see if the number of Democrats watching Fox @40% goes up in the coming days of Ukraine coverage. I guess they must be getting something out it and wars are always good for ratings I don't know how you handle it. Those Democrats are traitors to the cause. Since you feel so strongly, you should seek the means to open your own channel. Or maybe call CNN? I understand they may have some managerial positions that have opened up recently for reasons they did not report on. Then you can try to get them away from the Great Satan Murdoch. Before it's too late!

Dude, change the channel before it destroys your soul.

I'm not so sure. Russia has been acting in bad faith all along, denying they have had forces deployed within Ukraine and pretending they are impartial in the whole affair. The Minsk protocol had Ukraine negotiating under duress and the decentralization measures look like a step in the eventual absorption of the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts into Russia, by stealth. I think it was doomed from the start.

Of course, when Russia's expresses concern over their own security, what remains unsaid is that Ukraine's security comes a distant second.
I take no satisfaction from having called this two weeks ago.

That Putin is really silly. The invasion seems obvious. He is going to have to pay for it financially. Let's hope that this conflict does not evolve to a third World war.

We have to note that Nostradamus would have predicted a third World war around the year 2000.

2000? Maybe he was referring to the presidential election results in Florida..
