Not sure I'm understanding all of that but there is an issue with the 505 that, well, sucks. The HDMI connection will pass Video AND Audio to the TV as it is a passthrough with no way to assign the audio to the receiver. You must make an analog and/or digital connection to the receiver from the devices as well. So, a cable box or disc player with HDMI port must also be connected to the receiver with an analog and/or digital cable for audio. You will also need to turn the sound all the way down in the TV.
First, to get audio from the bluetooth device, plug it into a free COAXIAL port. Then, press the AUX source button on the front of the receiver. After pressing it, press the DIGITAL INPUT button on the front of the receiver. Look at the information on the receiver's display and select the COAXIAL input to which you have connected the bluetooth device. Now, try playing some music and see if you get any sound. For TV audio, connect an optical cable from the TV to the optical 2(CD) input. These connections will leave one COAXIAL and one OPTICAL port available for the digital audio connections of any devices using the HDMI ports for video. The sat box may have one or both output ports to make a digital connection to the receiver so that Dolby Digital audio can be played.
Because of the lack of the audio signal to the receiver's speakers using HDMI connection directly to the receiver, you might prefer connecting any HDMI connectable devices directly to the TV. The TV will pass the audio signal of connected devices from the optical cable to the receiver and save you some cable connections. You can go down to just one optical and one coaxial connection to the receiver and only have to change between two sources. You'd select CD for audio coming from the TV and AUX to hear music from the bluetooth device. There will be some sound settings to deal with in the TV as well but I'm sure your head is already spinning. I'm a little dizzy myself.
