After much deliberation, I finally made my AVR amp decision

I’ve read so much discussion about AVRs vs Pre/pros. It all made my head spin. This is what I finally landed on.

Denon X3700H in pre amp mode

Buckeye amps
4 channel 502MP for LCR
8 channel 252MP for everything else

11.2.4
Dual SVS SB-3000
Golden Ear Invisa SPS - LCR
Golden Ear Invisa MPX - sides and back
Golden Ear Invisa 650 - 4 ceiling atmos

room size 14x22x8
I honestly have no idea if using the external amps will make a difference vs using the internal AVR amps, but I’m giving it a try.

Great choice, for $/quality watt, the Buckeye amps seem unbeatable, I am planning on getting one soon myself but would prefer to sell my A21 first.

In theory, if you don't listen too loud the 502MP shouldn't make an audible difference but if you push the AVR amps to clipping level then yes the external amp will help.
