Sounds like you shouldn't be buying the LG then. Good thing there are plenty of models for either camp. Huh. Look at that, your non-issue is solved!
I have both display LG and Sony OLED.

Doesn't concern me. The problems with Samsung TVs has everything to do with their processing and not the panel. I've had a Sammy plasma and 4K LCD. No more. Samsung's answer to everything is to blow out the picture and brag about contrast. With no Dolby Vision support, they really aren't offering much other than purple blobs as the LED caps fall off.

Why did you buy an lg? For a better gaming experience? If you're buying their inferior product then it's you who's ruining the industry! Why would you support the very thing you've been arguing against? That doesn't even make sense. Your whole deal was "gamers will always choose the inferior product", and here you are, buying it too!

No offense to anybody, it just tickles me.
Agreed. I get a little caught up in the moment at times, but offense is never my goal.

I will add this also. Tho @Auditor55, you and I clearly disagree, I appreciate that you're able to have the debate without resorting to personal insults and name calling like some do when backed into a corner. I respect that and hold no ill will or bad feelings toward you man. It's been a spirited conversation.

So I speak from experience.

Great! Now, back to the Samsung bashing!:D I kid but I am moving on from them. Still sore at Sony for a Grand Wega that melted down some years ago. So, though the A80J was a contender for a few reasons at first, might go LG next time around. Then, I can complain about all three of them.:D

No, no don't do it. Get the Sony and don't look back. Anyway, LG's are no slouches, they are great sets with great PQ, I just prefer what Sony brings to the table more. Although I like WebOS over Android/Google TV.

Everybody back up! I’ve got my finger on the check out button for an LG OLED and I will go through with it! I said, “Back the f#%k up!”:D

Samsung will not be getting into the OLED market. They're going full steam ahead with Micro-LED.
Samsung seems to have no idea what they are doing at the moment. They are marketing against a product which every reviewer in the world says is better than what they are producing. Every reviewer still tends to give the best Samsung display high marks for what Samsung is doing with their LCD products, but there is no question that every reviewer prefers what LG is doing with OLED panels.

I don't really care what Samsung does. If they are able to actual get micro-led engineered and produced, that would be amazing, but reports are that this is still several years away at the earliest and pricing isn't likely to start out as anything but atrocious.

Notwithstanding the Samsung hate, they're number one in TV sales. Micro-LED is the future, Samsung already has them but they're like 100 inches and $200,000.

Selling a lot of something doesn't mean you make the best overall product.
