Sony WH-1000XM3 ANC Bluetooth Headphones

After finishing her first year of university from her bedroom, it looks like my daughter will be physically attending in the Fall and will be living in residence. Wifey suggested we get her some ANC bluetooth headphones for her upcoming birthday. I think I scored a pretty good deal on these:

That's about US$230. Hope she likes them.

I just bought the WH-1000XM4 version in blue to go with a new iPad that I received as a gift and so far they have been awesome. All of the reviews I read said the WH-1000XM3 version were outstanding also and from what I could see you didn't gain a whole lot with the newer version. I'm sure she will love them.

My research concurs with yours. Considering that the WH-1000XM4's are C$500 (US$410), I thought my purchase was a no-brainer.

I've had 1000XM3 cans for a couple years and love them. They were more comfortable to me than Bose QC.

Now it's an XM5 that 3 and change. The XM4 is $228 at BB.
