do you think it is possible to connect the black DVD player with the blue dac somehow?

How about a make/model number for the dvd player? Not sure why you would want to connect other than digital output from the player to a dac. Looks like the player only has an hdmi output, tho.

Well that sounds like an Amazon brand....but doesn't seem to have the type of outputs you need to connect/use an external dac. As was suggested at asr, maybe an hdmi splitter or a different optical disc player with the outputs to match the inputs on your dac....
