Yeah, his movies came along at a time when "Friends" was the big thing on TV. The bar had been lowered. There are about as many classics episodes of that piece of s#%t as there are classic Sandler movies. They were products of their time. His movies were to the 90's and 2000's what Jerry Lewis movies were to the 50's and 60's. But, he's laughing all the way to the bank even if the audience isn't laughing at all.
