My Marantz receiver was working great then my front panel display went dark. It is stuck on blu-ray and won’t switch to anything else. If I use the onscreen display it shows that it is switching between inputs but it does not actually do it . Any suggestions for a solution? Thanks

Do you have pure direct engaged? That would blank out the panel but wouldn't freeze input yet indicate they've switched that I've experienced. Maybe try a soft reset (unplug avr for a bit)....and maybe a hard reset (full/factory/microprocessor reset) if that doesn't do anything.

Pure direct is not engaged and I have done a soft reset but do not know how to do a hard reset!

Should be instructions in the manual, did you RTFM?

Can’t find manual. Thanks for the link. I found that a rear back speaker had blown and shut down the receiver after doing the hard reset!
