Bose Speakers FAILED

Hey everyone, I am brand new here. After my light research I've learned Bose is not what the marketing suggests. I'm trying to fix/replace my dads surround sound system. He has four speakers mounted up high in the 4 corners of the room. I think these are the tweeters. Anyways, all of them are blown and dont produce any sound. Is there a way for me to just replace the internals of these speakers and keep the housings? Or is it more cost effective to buy new units? I had worked with this older gentleman in the past and he told me about a site he was able to buy great speakers for cheap. He told me they are the original makers of the high end speakers before they get marked up by Bose and other companies. I dont know how true that is, but hey worth an ask. Thank you in advance!

Bose is not recommended when new. I'm sure no ones going to recommend fixing them used

What's your budget and you have any size limitations to the speakers I can name a few recommendations if you'd like

Doubt they're worth repair, and nothing special about the box/housing to want to save either but more details about not just the speakers but the rest of the gear involved would be good. Does sound like a sales pitch as to that origin story....they're not like the system talked about in this thread I hope.... https://forums.audioholics.com/forums/threads/new-here-can’t-hook-up-our-system.120468/#post-1446084

You can get some very reasonable cost satellite speakers if that's all that needs replacement. They're usually more than tweeters, either a small full range or 2-way speaker in such satellites....

Seriously, I have no life.
Have you tried to contact Bose to see if they can replace the speaker modules? I doubt they have the raw drivers to sell.
Is the whole system Bose?
How did your discover speakers are blown? Physical damage visible?
Most likely best to start over with another system.

Ask him if he wants small or bigger speakers this time around .

Is the amp blown also?
All brands make satellites speakers but you probably will need a receiver also .
