I spent a lot of time with Jeopardy over the years, was one of my mom's favorites, too. Worked right up to the end, what a trooper. RIP Mr Trebek....

I will always remember the early days of Jeopardy and watching with my mom almost every evening at dinner time. We would sit around and stare cluelessly at the TV while people piped up with their questions/answers over and over. He was a definite legacy persona for that show.

It got my wife and I to thinking about who would be a good replacement for him? It's not like the show is likely to go away, but like Bob Barker, it isn't going to be an easy change to make. Would like to hear what others think.

I suspect that Ken Jennings will take over as host. Nothing official that I have seen, but maybe a couple of hints here and there.

My mom and I watched the show, too, but she was very good with a variety of challenges....national level crossword, cyphers, trivia master, etc. I was sort of into that too, and Jeopardy definitely helped pushed me along, so we would compete with each other as well as the show's contestants...
