Upgrade - used equipment or new?

Never thought of buying one at Costco. Not sure how it would hold vs a more expensive unit...
But yea I think Mazer is 100% right, speakers before anything. I mean just trying to get this clear, maybe I missed it. You only got one pair of speakers, but you want to get two rooms of audio. Youre obviously going to need more speakers.

I've been saying now for the past two months. Black friday is coming, and cyber monday. You may be in europe I see, but I mean you can buy online and get some killer deals. I am going to buy my full 5.1 setup during black friday. Just bought two speakers to hold me off cause I've been waiting since march to get this setup and found a killer deal on my AVR. Was going to wait until black friday for that too.

The TSR-700 are flying off the shelves, I was there 2 days before and they had a full stack, when we went they only had 4 in stock.

I just told my buddy about the TSR700 and he bought it for his klipsch system and it's pretty nice. I had a decent listening session with it. I gave him some warnings with complaints ive seen online, he just got a new upgrade they released from the firmware and it's pretty bad ass. I'm definitely no expert, and I am not doing a comparison as I have nothing to compare to as someone new. But it got a nice BB dac chip in it, and I use a lot of Ifi products for headphones which use BB chips. Super clean.

For the price cant go wrong, and if it's screwed up or testy you got 90 days to return at costco. 2 year manu warranty.

The only thing I would say is that if you plan on buying try not to hook anything up to it, 4k player or streamer. Just stream from your tv and it's a dream. I see on here some people posted that colors are off and all that crap until they update the 4k/120 and HDR+. Will also have dolby atmos.

I compare to the little brother the Yamaha V385, which isn't bad, but it is definitely a jump towards covering all the bases for nearly a 100 dollars more.

We need something on this forum that tells where people are from instead of recommending sh_t they can't get.
Or maybe I'm missing something
Honestly man you can order online, if he knows someone in America who is a costco member they can order it.

I am one, and honestly would be willing to get it for him without a doubt. So it's just a trust factor situation on his end. I am always willing to help people. My buddy didn't have a membership and I bought it for him.

I would even be willing to purchase it and have it shipped to his address, but they wont let you do that. I have to pay and it has to go to my house per costco rules.
