Does the PB2000 pro have a similar dual voice coil to the PB3000 for extended excursion?

Well the short version of that is, DVC had nothing to do with excursion. Might have better power handling and thermal resistance but won’t affect excursion.
And no, it doesn’t. Don’t think the 3000’s do either. Happy to be corrected.

DVC gives connection-to-amplifer options that allow one to choose, so to speak, the impedance of the Woofer.
2 2-ohm voice coils connected in parallel will yield a 1-ohm load. In series, it would be 4-ohms.
When combined with two DVC woofers, you can introduce series-parallell as an option as well.

According to Alden, you can connect 2 2-ohm DVC drivers, VC A1 to VC B1 and A2 to B2, each in series and connected to separate Amp Channels to realize a +6dB SPL boost and a 4-ohm load.
You will also see a +6dB SPL boost with 1 DVC driver having VC A1 to A2 in parallel, but will see a 1-ohm load connected to one amp channel.
If you take the first example, but connect VC A1 to B1, and A2 to B2, each in parallel and connected to separate amp channels, you will see a +12dB SPL boost and a 1-ohm load.

A side note is that this type of DVC connection, according to Alden, will also change the Qes of the driver by half, which can then have an effect on the type of box used.

Xmax will not change. If using multiple drivers, Vas will always increase.

Only because I have never used SVS Subs, and especially with their app...
Does the -24 setting in the app reflect the Sub Gain itself, or is there a separate Gain knob on the Sub?
Sub gain.

Watching Extraction on Netflix. Mater Volume -15 on Denon. Great dynamics. It’s loud... the only way for you guys to “see” what I hear is REW right?

Pretty much. We could watch the same title! But the graph tells the tale.
Even the MV level doesn’t tell that much when you consider that output differences from the source device can change the overall output a lot. That’s one reason I feel like using a disk is important. Streaming sources/devices vary a great deal so IMO, it makes somewhat of a difference. Same as if you said you were using Spotify to AirPlay from your phone to the AVR vs
Any other source, and then said hmmm it’s really quiet. I’d first have to ask if the volume was up on the phone. Point is, not all sources are created equal. So the graph is all we got. As long as we can read em!!! Lol.
FWIW, I watched “Extraction” at -12mv iirc and agree. It was dynamic and very well done overall. I like Chris hemsworth too, but imo sound design was really good.
