Sorry for the delayed response. Been dealing with the
Excitable Boy, my grandson, today. If I could only synthesize his energy level, I’d be a millionaire.
I’ve been in that position ...
properly bent over ... in every presidential election.
C’mon dude … I’m assuming you’re a dude and not a dudette
… has anybody ever been truly happy voting in annnny
presidential election? I haven’t and I’ve voted in every local/state/national election since 1973.
My first presidential election was in 1976, Carter vs. Ford, just missing another
stink-a-roo in 1972, with McGovern vs. Nixon. Not much of a choice as far as I was concerned but I did my civic duty, held my nose and voted for Carter.
As Honore De Balzac said …
I’m paraphrasing … ‘behind every great fortune, lies a great crime’. Same goes for politics as far as I’m concerned. Occupational hazard you might say.
Be it personal flaws or policy differences; the perfect candidate doesn’t or ever existed in any presidential election.
True?
I’ll start.
I’m voting for ‘ol
Uncle Joe who’s a moving kind-a slow …
Petticoat Junction reference … and Kamala Harris.
Of course if you believe in the sanctity of the voting booth & your conscience or it’s none of my/our business or you’re not voting in this upcoming election, just say so.
No big whup. Or I hope not.
