AVENTAGE RX-A3080 questions

Will this have enough power tiger to start up a amp. I think I saw Yamaha,s had a hard time doing that. I had a 2080 that lasted me until it was hit by lighting hinting my cable it was not ground right. So i would call it reliable.

They need a certain voltage to turn on the amp, i believe this was talked about Yamaha a good will back did not no if it was fixed

You mean the trigger....check the specs of the Yamaha and that of the amp you intend to use.

The RX-A3080 has enough pre-amp voltage (2V) to get most amps (28dB gain) to output 300W into 8 ohms or 600W into 4 ohms.

But if you're just talking about the 12V trigger to turn on the amp - then yes, it can easily turn on the amp using the 12V trigger cable.

This is my power tiger:
Yours may be powerful but it would trip if driven too hard due to weak bite (the canines look overheating, see the yellowish burn marks/signs). Mine won't have that problem.

The discoloration just means the canines are already burned in. They will have slightly lower fs and midrange will have "more bite". Snare drums will have more attack too.
