One thing I'm wondering is not everybody is going to go for this in every state I'd imagine right?
Nope. Seattle and Portland both have too many spoiled white kids who want to smash windows with their skateboards. Out where I live we are more likely to get the militia 2A types.

Hmmm...never heard of this Elijah Schaffer character before. Checked his twitter. I can't bother following anyone who RT's Trump and Dinesh D'Souza tweets unironically.
Touche, but there really is unrest in Seattle, Minneapolis, etc.

I'm going to give you a huge shout out on this info that's crazy and scary with no police whose going to stop people from going after you if you don't meet there agenda? The public policing themselves could be a scary thing. I want to believe people are good but I do not believe they are good as a crowd and when there emotional.

Thank you for the information I do think change is necessary I'm just worried about knee jerk reactions type of change. Let's just topple the whole thing down without thinking about what the consequences are and what needs to be put in its place that's what scares me
It's already decided by the supreme court that police are not obligated to defend/protect people. Personal protection is truly up to the individual to decide how they want to do that. It's also said that an armed society is a polite society, if you want proof of that go to a gun store.

Castle Rock v. Gonzales, 545 U.S. 748 (2005), is a United States Supreme Court case in which the Court ruled, 7–2, that a town and its police department could not be sued under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 for failing to enforce a restraining order, which had led to the murder of a woman's three children by her estranged husband.

But medicine has done a poor job of weeding out the incompetents
It's worse than that I fear. Consider the proliferation of quacks operating under the guise of "complementary and alternative medicine." Entire university departments devoted to it, at previously reputable, evidence based programs, the woo classes often required coursework for graduation.

Ironically, capitalism is the very thing that can liberate the underclass from the chains of poverty, and STEM and biological science education provides highly marketable skills to get it done.

Lol!

Ironically, capitalism is the very thing that brought us here...literally and figuratively.

Capitalism and Capitalist both by design and necessity have no interest in, “liberating the underclass from the chains of poverty.” ( nice prose btw)

Capitalism can and does provide a means for some individuals in the underclass to improve their lot in life.

Capitalism needs a cheap/free labor source to exist. The police and military are used to maintain ”law and order.” Whose laws and orders? The Capitalist.

To quote the Temptations from the classic hit Ball of Confusion, “and the band played on...”

Capitalism is built on Greed. You still get the same Amount of food at McDonalds you did 30 years ago.

That's what I meant. The smart ones recognize the game, save their money, and put it to work. FWIW, I do believe in regulation of the economy to promote social mobility and to avoid excess concentrations of wealth and power (quiant twentieth century notions that have gone out of fashion...I would be thrilled if one of our dominant parties would restore some trust busting economic populism back into their party platforms.)

Capitalism is built on people providing a service or a product that will hopefully improve peoples lives. Look at apple, thats a great example, this guy makes good products that are easy to use and they are inovative. He sells a ton of them and makes a crap ton of money. Anyone can do this. on a smaller scale anyone can get a starter job an work hard and be reliable, from there they can work their way up by being good for the company. companies like Costco and home depot are great examples of people starting as cashiers and becoming executives. Another example is a kid mowing lawns and growing up to own a landscaping business. I could go on. Some of what we have now is government intervention to help companies that are failing for whatever reason but they aren't providing a service or a product that is what people want or at the quality or the value.

I think it was the abuse of Capitalism and lack of conscience brought us here.

If the poor can't benefit from Capitalism, how would you explain all of the people who came here with almost nothing and within a few years, own a business, send their kids to school, including college and own their home? In many cases, that cheap source of labor is the business owner and/or their family.

Apple is so far from being "this guy" it's ridiculous. Also, they have been accused of using sweat shops and abusing employees. Jobs, Cook and anyone who was in the top spot only managed and/or came up with and grew ideas.

Capitalism is built on Greed.
It's human nature to be greedy. It comes from hard realities, like needing to eat. It grows because success is a powerful drug.

Capitalism isn't based on greed, it just happens to be a copacetic match to our nature, similar to how the other enlightenment ideals are a copacetic match (have to include Adam Smith with Locke, Hume, et al).

I was trying to write something before going into a meeting so I was spitting a lot out. Apple is a good example to a degree because of making a better product that people want.

Why would someone anyone with Wealth Decide to spread the wealth. When in fact it is to become Wealthier. What is it Wealthy people need most? Laborers. Don't kid yourself Capitalism isn't built for the labor, it's an industry built on the backs of laborers to sustain their wealth. Capitalism is Greed. Or just have all the Wealthy people in the world just donate 10% of their Annually income to the rest of the population. lolo Let's take the NFL that's Tax Exempt. The greedy capitalist that run Capitalism hide most if not all of their Wealth overseas in offshore banks. If Capitalism is so great why do just about all Operations offshore Funnel Business into China and overseas markets. To Avoid paying tax's into Capitalism. The reason there is so much Oppression of the Labor market here in the United States is because capitalism is funding overseas Laborers. Thing about that is their helping Communist regimes build up to the point of the Citizens of the United States won't be able to defend themselves much longer. Who's going to go overseas to Fight in foreign wars? The Wealth's children and grandchildren? Yeah you keep telling Yourself Capitalism isn't greed. If Capitalism has the best interest of this country than pull out of every Country that's communist or has a dictator regime or Criminal organization that's run by Wealthy degenerates that has no Interest whatsoever in the citizens well-being of this country.

People get what they put in. The business owner took the risk and invested their own capital and deserve the rewards. Employees agreed to take the job with a guarantee to earn a certain amount each week, as there skill goes up they can hopefully earn more over time or get a different job. If they have a unique skill they may earn more yet.

part of capitalism is selling yourself and making yourself worth more.

So, if I get this capitalism thing right, landowners took the risk, and invested their own capital by purchasing African People, and deserve their rewards. The Africans failed to negotiate a fair wage for their services, and did not take advantage of their opportunity by developing a unique skill set that would make them more desirable on the open market when they were freed from their employment contract. Once freed, the African people did not have an adequate marketing strategy and failed at increasing their value on the open market.

I am ready to take my GED test!
