“A New Hope” :p:). Well I was Researching Legacy Classic HD Towrs, found a review and test with Results. 2nd. The link posted up I found a Interesting read also. 2nd. review gave the HD A stellar review and his test and results back it up. About the only thing “mark” was a lowend hump off Axis other than that. On Axus was really good. He did go on to say they don’t get into the lower end below 32hz’s a Sub is recommend. But where very Enjoyable for all kinds of music. But mostly Hi-Reg well recorded,
I didn’t take that as a knock as with any really good speaker poorly recorded or mixed Source will be Exposed for what it is, crappy CD, Badly mixed Movie Sound track. Those just may be my new last speakers for ever to be used as L/R mains. paired with two monoblock amps. Outlaw 2200’s should do nicely. A New Hope! coming soon to your forum!

“Return of the Jedi”. A New Hope”. My Apologies Gene’.:) had to rip off Your opening Intro from one of your YouTube videos.:)

Mike, Legacy Audio makes great speakers, but we don’t see many Legacy Audio owners.

I started this thread back in 2014 when I was still a moderator for Audioholics. And now (6 years later), you are the FIRST person to respond to this thread! :D

Regarding the Classic HD towers, the response from 100Hz to 11kHz is +/-3dB, which is within the standard range. I think most of the Legacy speakers will probably be about +/-3dB.

Wow!!! I just noticed the date. Funny....

I’ve been dreaming about a pair of Legacy “whispers” since about 1999. Mmmmm
Always wanted a pair of legacy’s ever since.

Always loved the looks of almost everything I’ve seen from Legacy. They are very proud of them wich is reflected by their msrp.

Congrats! @Gmoney was the 1st response (since 2014). Now you are the 2nd! :D
I was looking over the forum, I did want to start a new Thread if there was one already. Plus I’m Researching Legacy speakers. I ran across your Thread Andrew saw that it’s 6 years old with no other post. So I found one review online and a that link to the 2 nd review and that’s the one with test results on the Classic HD Towes.

They are not cheap for sure, but those who have money won’t think twice to buy speaker’s that cost 100K plus each.

Lol, I'm still soldiering on with my Legacy Audio Signature II from the 1990s! I've been thinking about replacing them for a decade now, but to get a modern equivalent would cost a lot of money. To me the current Focus SE is the sweet spot.

I think it's between the Focus SE (dual 12" woofers) and the Signature SE (dual 10" woofers").

But yeah, for those with the extra $$, the dual 12" woofers sure are nice. :D

- 4" AMT Tweeter x 1
- 7" Silver-Graphite Midrange x 2
- 12" Aluminum Subwoofers x 2

Now you're talking!
Personally, I think you are crazy for having RBH's throughout the house.
RBH makes some great speakers, but when there are so many great speakers available, if you will have two or more systems and have the bucks to mix it up, why wouldn't you?
Heck, you're a ML dealer! Get some E'stats in one of your rooms! They are just too cool not to!

Variety does make things more exciting than having the "same" things.

Will see. Still thinking about them. :D
