Impressions of Emo:

1. Too many bugs/issues
2. No support after warranty period
3. Too much cheese aesthetics
4. No way I’m paying $5K (or $4K) for any Emo

If you must have Dirac, then I would get the Monolith HTP-1. Otherwise, other options include Yamaha CX-A5100, Marantz, McIntosh (since your amps are McIntosh), and Anthem.

Thank you for the rerply i have seen some issues with the unit im just trying to find one that can be used for awhile. any thoughts?
Personally I don't see a lot of value in the prepros in general unless you want to go go full hog with something like a Trinnov....

I understand that prepros are swapped out a lot in theaters but it is still nice to get recommendations. I would go and pay 1k on a receiver to get me buy, i would like to hang on to stuff for at least 3-5 years

I use a Denon X3400H and it works like a charm. It has Audyssey XT32 and it's excellent. I have it running a Parasound 5 channel amp.

I think The Monolith HTP 1 would be the closest competitor to the Emotiva and is 1,000 dollars less if I'm not mistaken.
Unfortunately there don't seem to be many reviews and long term reliability datasets to go by
Im hoping we'll know more About the Monolith in a year or 2
