Pioneer vsx lx 103 to denon 3600h

Hey fellas. I am pretty new to the home theater scene. I have a pioneer elite 103 running my 3.1.2 system. ( elac debut 2 F6.2s, c6.2 and sub 3010 with klipsch R41sa atoms installed as height channels) I am really tired of the constant annoying hiccups and bugs I have with the streaming part of the pioneer. Also the room correction seems to not work well. No Matter how many times I run it it always gives me way bogus numbers for speaker distances and levels. This is my first AVR and I want to know if upgrading to the denon 3600 would give me a significant increase in audio quality and over all functionality. Thanks for any advice and Opinions Y’all might have

Is your streaming wifi or hard wired? Might want to give the specifics of the results you're getting with MCACC. Why would a level setting be bogus particularly? Delay (distance) can somewhat be due to room acoustics and for subs you may have some inherent delay in the sub amp's processing that affects the setting. Hard to know if you'd prefer the Denon's Audyssey, altho when I switched from Pioneer a few years back I thought Audyssey was an improvement, particularly for subs.

Maybe not bogus levels. The different left and right speaker distances bother me and I think it makes me feel like everything else is bogus. I am 13.5 ft away for my speakers and mcacc tells me that the left is anywhere from 1.5 ft to 5 ft away. Right side is a little closer at 9-12 ft. Is this done on purpose because of my room?

Got a pic of your speakers from your listening position? Does sound a bit extreme. You're sure the speakers are in phase?

Don’t laugh.....Phase meaning they are all hooked up positive to positive and negative to negative? I tried to upload the pic but it said it was to large.

Yes, or same polarity....

If you use windows 10 you can right click on the photo file name and then select edit it'll put it in paint and you can select resize from there....25-30% works for me most of the time.

Hmm nothing too unusual. How about your seat....is it up against the wall (trying to see in reflection) ? Do the speakers when running test tones sound terribly different from each other? Ever swap speakers to check them?

Oh, and you might think about some cooling for the avr, that's a really tight spot and is that fireplace used?
