I have some Legacy audio speakers that are probably 15-17 years old but have not been used much in the last decade. They are in very good condition and have been kept upstairs in a dry, pet free environment. There are 2 bookshelf, 1 center channel and 1 large subwoofer (about the size of a tower speaker).
I believe the bookshelf speakers are part of the Studio collection while the center channel is a Silver Screen 2. Not sure about the subwoofer just yet. Is there any type of market for these speakers? They don't really fit with what I'm trying to build now. Any information would be very helpful.

I have a few pics that were apparently too large to upload

First question: Which brand are they? Model number? There are a lot of speakers for which there is almost no demand and that makes their possible sale and value questionable.
Did you verify on eBay or other online sale markets?

EDIT: Legacy is a brand. There are some listed on the Canuck Audio Mart. There's also a US Audio Mart.

Yeah it's super useful for us to know what they are before any speculating can be done...

What part of the initial post isn't clear, am I missing something?

Brand: Legacy Audio
Model:. Center channel: Silverscreen 2
Bookshelf: Studio series

I don't have model numbers offhand at the moment. What additional info would be helpful?

Legacy makes some very nice stuff, altho am not familiar particularly with what you have. I'd contact Legacy for questions, maybe look for forums with specific areas for Legacy info... (don't think I've seen such here on Audioholics).

Try making your phone camera not take high resolution pictures you can change it in the settings this should solve the picture problem. Some pictures would really help us out

If you're using an Android phone there's an app called "photo and picture resizer". I use it all the time. I'm sure iphones have something similar.

Legacy makes great products that still have good value even after a long time. Check Audiogon to see what others are selling theirs for.

when i first read your post about having legacy speakers, I thought you were referring to the legacy in general terms (as in old, well established speakers). Ha! You actually spelled it correctly and meant the brand Legacy.
That threw me for a loop. My error, not yours. It shows how easily communication on a forum can go sideways.
Yes, pics would help. And if you're on a WIndows 10 machine, you can just pop a picture up with a double click and then while its displayed right click it and resize it with the resize option. I have to do it for any photo I want to post on most forums. I like full res pics, but forums dont

The first and second generation Legacy Audio speakers still have fairly decent resale value considering their age. A lot depends on the veneer on your speakers. Rosewood has by far the most resale value, followed by Cherry. Oak is the least desirable, especially these days. Legacy cone drivers used butyl rubber surrounds, so foam rot isn't a problem. Hopefully you have the original shipping boxes, though I suspect Legacy can provide replacements. They're very customer-oriented.

Back then Legacy used to "voice" their speakers to "sound good", so once my accuracy bug hit about 15 years I wasn't satisfied with mine. But I've met few people in "real life" who are really interested in accuracy, so it probably won't be a problem selling them.

Actually not going to sell anymore. I located my father's old legacy classic towers (sold a few years back) and bought them back. Going to pair them with my silverscreen 2 center and Studios in the rear. Any recommendations on a new receiver?

That's going to be a nice nice setup In going to take a minute try to think about what would work man some pictures and model numbers on those towers would really help. Like to look up some specs on those before making any suggestions on recievers

How big is your room? How far is your seating from the L/R speakers?

Room is 15x15, sitting 11ft away from the speakers

You won't need much power for a room like that. Legacy Audio designs are known for working best with amplifiers rated for 4 ohm loads. I'm not an AVR expert, so I won't make specific recommendations.
