So atm I’m running 702 s2 and htm71 s2 with no sub, I’m looking for something that’s aesthetically pleasing works well with music and when I upgrade to a pair of 804d3 will mesh well with that as well. My budget for the sub atm is 2500$, I’ve dome some research but I’d like to hear others opinions idk if it was right making a new post about this but I’m looking to purchase before Monday thank you!!!

Why just one sub to start? What size room? SPL and extension goals? Fancy wood veneer preferred....any particular flavor? Or piano black works? I wouldn't rush the decision, not usually a good way to go in things audio....

Biggest thing, as lovin’ asked before... what’s your room size? Volume is the important part to help us help you. If you have an open floor plan, you need to consider the whole area. :)

Maybe checkout HSU Research VTF2 or SVS PB2000 or Rythmik LVX12 or Monoprice Monolith 12.

Maybe HSU ULS15 in the Rosenut?

I’m unclear in a condo how much bass you want to generate though

1500 sq ft in one room? Or open floor plan totalling that with what ceiling height?...subs are about volume. I'd also wonder about neighbors in a condo unless it is concrete construction or something....

I was thinking a pair of the HSU ULS15s as well if the Rosewood works for you. Seaton and JTR can provide very nice custom finishes (or better yet Funk or maybe a Salk cabinet with Rythmik drivers).

if aesthetics are the most important, I'm guessing you would prefer piano black? If you want a beautiful furniture grade finish, Jim Salk / Salk Sound does custom cabinets for Rythmik Drivers. but that takes a few months.
You want fast, I'd say look at SVS for any piano black options if you are OK with that. Hsu in Rosewood.

Usually subs are meant to be hidden so most companies don't finish them to the nines.

There are others, but again, you run into custom builds that take time and cost!.

BTW... you left out height... room volume is all important with subs. :)

But ceilings are high, 2 story open to dining area and stairs going up, kitchen is somewhat closed off.

Your best quality bass is going to come from ID brands. If you want looks, you can find that too, but not knowing your aesthetic and room volume kind of freezes the conversation. :)

I am very fond of my Outlaw X-13s. great subs... for what they are they look good. They are rated for handling a room volume in excess of 5000'3.
SVS PB 4000 is available in Piano Black, and many like that look. These will also handle large room volumes, especially in pairs.
The Hsu options in Rosewood... VTF15Hmk2 would be my main choice, but if you are in a small enough room, their sealed ULS15mk2 can be a beast... especially if you get 3 or 4 in a small to medium size room.
Rythmik offers Piano Black options, and I would look at their FV15HP-SE.
If you want, as I mentioned above, a furniture grade finish, Look at Salk Sound and what his speakers look like. He will build anything you want in terms of cabinet and finish... he usually quotes about 4 months for a build. His cabinet work is top notch!
If floor space is a concern, look at SVS PC 4000... no finish options, but maybe you end up falling in love.
Beyond that, JTR, Seaton, and Funk also build to order, I think... especially if you want a special finish... but they can get pricey.

Seeing your last post now... you will want to look for something capable in a large room. Doesn't mean you need to use it at full volume all the time... but if you buy too small, you might never be satisfied.

Just my thoughts... YMMV.

To learn more about the room volume thing, this is a good read. most of the subs reviewed hear give a rating based on the Bassaholic protocol. :)

I think living in a condo is a big factor depending on construction, as you might be shaking the entire building with a VTF15 or PB4000. LOL :)

But at lower gain... not so much, and the sound quality will be way up. :) If using a smaller sub in a large space, its way easier to drive it too hard which will introduce a lot of additional distortion. That's the stuff that rattles cabinet doors, window panes, wall hangings... and "sounds loud." Just wanna give a chance! :)

Rythmik Audio is just outside of Austin in Cedar Park. You could pick it up and save shipping! :D
