Well the HSU VTF15 MK2 in the Rosenut are nice and you can run them sealed if the ported mode was too loud. :)

At $2500 for something that looks nice, I would definitely go for dual subs. I would be mostly looking at sealed subs as ported subs tend to be huge. You do sacrifice deep frequency performance by going with sealed though.

Subs brands that I would be looking at is SVS, Hsu, Paradigm Defiance X series, Monoprice Monolith, Rythmik Audio sealed 15"s, Outlaw Ultra-X13 (if it ain't too big). Maybe the Seaton Sound JS-12. Maybe MartinLogan Dynamo 1100X.

The thing is, if you are going to end up with some 804 D3 speakers, there probably isn't a whole lot that sealed subs will contribute to the low end on a rig like that, so it becomes an argument for ported subs which will have much stonger and deeper bass than the 804 speakers. The problem with ported of course, is that they tend to be big. Sealed can make up for that in number though. For around $2500 you could get three Hsu ULS-15s or four SVS SB-2000s. If you place those around the room, you can get a very good frequency response with plenty of output.

Personally, if you can get Rythmik without having to pay shipping, that is what I'd get.
I don't know how well they are setup for "showroom", but I think you'll get "an education" if you drop by. I'm sure what they have setup is a great demonstration of good subwoofage.
Also, you can be, at least, a bit more trusting dealing with the ID companies than, say BestBuy. These guys know their stuff and they really depend (especially Rythmik - I don't see many ads) on word of mouth recommendations for their livelihood!
They will do a pretty good job using the info you give them to recommend your best-fit option(s). They are not going to try to steer you to their most expensive sub, because the ID market usually involves people who have researched subs fairly well and they are competing with other ID companies. Since you are local, they will know they have a likely sale, but their business philosophy is built on internet competition and the need to be sure their customers will be happy (and make recommendations) for the following years, not just when you walk out the door with your sub..

A lot to consider and I’ll def stop by and check them out, I know I want a gloss finish either piano black or a chocolate walnut stain like my bdi av corridor rack and ab corridor av tv stand. I do want sealed have no issue buying later on if I want a ported, but sealed and at least a 12-15 driver

I just got dual svs sb-3000's for my room and the only thing I wish I would have done is to have done it sooner!

If you are looking for sealed, look for the DSP control and size of the woofer. With rythmic right there, I would not hesitate to grab a pair of their larger sealed subs and call it a day.

HSU, SVS, Rythmic, monolith, etc. I have heard nothing but good things about all of these. It'll come down to preference more than anything.
