There is a lot of interpretation in legal issues, and a lot of lawyers to do it. My post did two things. It poked fun at legal pedestrians who think they speak with authority on legal issues... par for the WWW. And it dismissed the liberal presumption of moral superiority. How can your morality be superior when it changes so often? Examples abound, and I gave just a couple. Here's another. Obama said marriage was between a man and a woman. Libs elected him president. 10 years later a Christian baker was the devil himself for refusing to go against his religion and sell a gay wedding cake.

It is the hallmark of liberals. Your values change. The reason for the changes can be debated, and I have my opinion. But it is so common, it can be predicted. In a nutshell, that's why your moral arguments are often laughable. You moral compass will likely swap poles soon... again.

Mueller's report was 448 pages. Barr never intended to summarize the report... he summarized the report's conclusions. Of course it didn't "fully capture the context, nature and substance". And it is expected that you will disregard anything that doesn't fit your preconceived notions. It's what you do because you're an internet expert liberal. You're absolutely right with your comment about misdirection. Of that, sir, you are an expert.

The "weird conflation" is a good example of my point that liberals have no principles or standards. Your positions change as often as the weather. But you seem loathe to explain that. I can't wait to hear you discount Barr's investigation into the investigation, although I know you're already laying the groundwork. Anything Barr does will obviously be partisan and tainted. What's wrong with wanting what's best for the country? I don't want to go around persecuting anyone, but at this point, I wouldn't exactly call 'the lowest minority unemployment in a very long time' persecution.

I know someone who came to the US in the late-70s from Kiev- he doesn't trust Russia, at all. Not saying I trust them, but why trust China when they're already screwing the US in so many ways? Look at their Human Rights record- pretty appalling.

I haven't been to any of those places, but I know people who have- as usual, it's not the people who want to harm each other, it's members of the governments. The photos I have seen were beautiful, but the extremely poor still suffer as much as anywhere.

I use Milwaukee as an example because I have lived here my whole life- it's crap. The city also hasn't had a Republican Mayor in over 100 years, so it's kind of hard to blame that side for the way this dump is being run. The roads suck, the inner city is a place where it has just been overtly neglected until the people get fed up and burn it, the way they did a couple of years ago. The Mayor wanted a trolley and he got one. Before they broke ground, he decided that he wanted to expand it and that raised the cost. Then, he just announced that he wants to expand it further. They saw low ridership, so the local casino fired up for one year of free rides for everyone. Nice move, but once people have to pay, the number of riders will plummet- it doesn't serve enough of the city to do it right and the overhead cabling makes it look like a scene from the past, or a third world country. The first thing they found when they started digging for the new tracks- THE OLD TRACKS!

Special counsel Robert Mueller will make a statement at 11 a.m. on his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, the Justice Department said on Wednesday.​

I'm really curious as to what he has to say! During his investigations he certainly was not talkative and that did not improve after the investigations ended either.

"As set forth in the report, after the investigation, if we had confidence that the president did not clearly commit a crime, we would have said so."​

Trump responded on Twitter to Mueller's statement:

"nothing changes from the Mueller report. There was insufficient evidence and therefore, in our Country, a person is innocent. The case is closed! Thank you".​

Rep. Justin Amash (R-Michigan),a vocal Trump critic and the only Republican to call for his impeachment, took Mueller's statement as a sign that Congress should step in.

Eight of the 24 Democratic presidential candidates have now called for Trump to be impeached.
