Back from a walk, nice lovinthehd is active in the thread now also, good to get more opinions and information. I know a guy in northern sweden who had the wharfedale 220, he found them a bit too laid back but pleasant. They are probably made that way to be kind to cheaper electronics flaws. I have heard the klipsch you mention wanting and they are small. Yes they have a small horn but they are not like the bigger floorstanders klipsch have a lot of. They will probably sound crisper(which might be too much) and a bit clearer then the wharfedales but they might not fill a room quite as well. They are more expensive then the wharfedales so its to be expected that they sound a little better overall. They would need a lot of help from a sub in a 5.1 setup. I use similar size speakers(dali ikon 1) with a yamaha 350(i think) sub at my computer and listened to quite a lot of different smaller speakers when choosing. More recently what i heard from not much time listening to the small klipsch was nice for the price, but it might be a very good idea to consider wharfedale of a higher quality locally if thats not much more expensive then klipsch from amazon + shipping.
