So i was going through my father's attic looking for stuff to sell. Then I remembered he had a old yammy reciever from the late 90s. So I hooked up the rx-v870 to my polk tsx 550t and boy the amplifier sounds wayy better and cleaner than my denon x4200w with a emotiva a300 used externally. So my question is do the new Yamaha integrated amps have that clean dynamic power with a home theater bypass mode?

That's an older model stereo receiver. It is probably as good as the newer A-S701/801, less the digital stuff, but no, it won't be any cleaner than your X4200W. I took a look of the schematics, saw no evidence of that at all. The preamp section of the newer X4300H through X4500H would be cleaner, at last in theory.
