Actually, the seller has five of them for sale! For one, the MSRP is over $1100.

Wonder if QSC extends warranty on these....
A prospective buyer could ask the seller.

I think that those amps might have come from a theater installer who went bankrupt or closed his business for whatever other reason.

Yeah I was thinking along those lines but might need to talk to QSC if seller isn't a dealer. Crown has a no-fault policy where it's simply 3 years and fully transferable...

I would suggest U get a serial # and make a call to QSC to verify its warranty..... Today there are too many questionable deals on E-Bay..

Just my $0.02... ;)

In my opinion, there's not much risk with a QSC product. Even without a warranty, I wouldn't be worried at all!

That company makes reliable products and has been in business for over 50 years. It builds pro audio gear on which musicians and theaters worldwide depend. For me, it's my opinion, but the concern of a defective amp would not come to mind.

I have been an eBay member for 15 years, and only purchase from sellers who have at least a 98% feedback record, preferably 99 to 100%.

Should someone have received an item which doesn't correspond to the description of the listed item, he has the protection from eBay, and PayPal if he paid using their service. Once, I had bought a used amp from someone and never received it. I had tried to reach the seller and his phone line was no longer active. I was totally reimbursed by eBay.

Once, I bought a used Revox A-77 tape deck. When I received it, the wood encasing was completely damaged through transit. The seller didn't want to refund me despite the fact that he hadn't securely packaged the item. I sent proofs with pictures of the wood case in pieces to eBay, and they debited the seller's account and refunded me.

I have been selling items on eBay for over 10 years. Sometimes, I question some buyer's honesty. I have had problems with European buyers who didn't act in good faith , treating me as a swindler. Now, I only sell to Canadians and Americans and my overall experience is rather good. Since then, I have been keeping my feedback score at 100%.

Stuff happens, worth doing the homework. If only I needed another amp....but I don't.

Well noted...
I too have been an E-Bayer(seller & buyer)for >16 years with >2700 transactions and 100% feedback. E-Bay has developed into a global clearing house but now the % of scammers has increased significantly from the early days of E-Bay.
IMHO..
In a dispute, E-Bay will typically take the position of the buyer making it difficult to get back your $. Their global shipping system sounds good on the surface but really makes it that much harder to settle a dispute. But the above comments to double check feedback and stay with users in North America are right on...
E-Bay has issues but still it is 1 of the remaining places to sell virtually anything, as well as doing comparison shopping since it has so many commercial sellers. I still use E-Bay frequently but more for the smaller, less expensive stuff..

Just my $0.02... ;)
