PB-2000 not impressed

Did I say that was it? I just asked what you thought. :p

No, what I just ordered wasn't even a subwoofer, although it was for the home theater room (damn pricey at that!). I have been contemplating that sub, though. Getting it in the house (let alone the room) would be tricky, but I've got a spot for it that would work. It does seem like uber overkill, but damn would that be fun.

I'm two states North of Deepseasound, BTW.

That is like a holy grail of subs I think I can speak for a lot of us on this forum that would donate parts of our body to own that sub

Overkill? Nah, it’s sealed. Lol!

Yeah 210lbs is no joke.

Oh, yes what I thought. That is a great subwoofer.

Thinking two $2,000 subs is another option if you have that kind of budget. :)

Hell, I can afford it if I really want it (not kidding about concern about doing damage to the house, though). I just won't be going to Oktoberfest this year in Munich, if I do (still waiting on my passport renewal to show up anyway...probably screwed the form up). I just spent like $2000 on stupid movie props the past few months for decoration (including a $275 "Raven Bar" medallion a few minutes ago and $200 on a 1/6 scale Ark of the Covenant this past week (still waiting on it).

The question is do I NEED it? I mean I like Oktoberfest.... :D

Prost! Lets hear it for the Midwest! I'm from 3 states to the left, and the Lady is from Athens.

And if you decide to do both... or order from JTR... ;) ...Don't forget the blue museum putty to keep all those trinkets from rattling! :p

You know Ryan I was going to therapy for that particular situation.....

It was working......

But now thanks to you I just had a huge relapse....
I know how you feel. I'm probably going to have to move a sub soon, too. (The 3s are finished!) :D:D:D Just packing and shipping across ~1/2 the US stands between us.:(
But soon.:) Very soon.

Not sure exactly which direction you’re leaning, but these would also be on my list if I were in the market.

Personally, I don’t love sealed but the s2 is pretty awesome. In fact, all of these subs are excellent and would make a good foundation for any home theater, even the “smaller” 118ht. For a long time, my white whale was Rythmiks fv15hp. It is an amazing subwoofer. However, they’ve upped their own game with the 18 and 25 etc, and really pretty much all sub builders have, so there’s a lot of digging to do to find what you want. Fortunately data-bass can give you plenty of nerd food to see what’s what. https://data-bass.com/home
The links above are just to give more food for thought. The 24” Mariana is pretty amazing, but I think for less money you can do as good if not better. Rythmik, SVS, HSU, PSA, monolith, etc all have great options.
Truth is, I wish I could offer to you, to buy any sub from you, that you chose to try if you didn’t believe it was a considerable upgrade. That’s how much I believe in what I’m saying. But, self employed family of 5...not gonna happen today. Lol
