I should have known better but I just listened to a pair and they are ludicrous. They were pushed by a Moon amp/pre amp and the sound was intense at higher volumes.

Just wondering if you listened to them in Dallas. Audio Concepts has a pair of demos on sale and they also sell Moon Audio. FYI I have purchased some equipment from them in the past. Most recently a used Rega Planar 3.

Not bad measurements, but for $10k a pair, I would have hoped for better directivity control. I will take some Revel 228Be speakers instead at that pricing.

And I would take some higher end Magnepans with a fast sub as long as I had the power and room to handle them.

At $10K, I'd have to add another $2k and check out the JBL M2:

$6k each is a very good price. I have no idea if the store is legit, but I'd check into it!

But Focal makes some nice speakers (which may be more appropriate for a standard home listening room)!

I am very satisfied with my Kanta 2’s with a 400w 2 channel Carver Amp. Can’t wait to add more separates. They play very loud, nicely in my 16x38 room. I thought about wanting the Kanta 3, but don’t think I need it. When I get my Anthem STR preamp, I will see how it plays with bass control for my pair of JL Audio 112 subwoofers when playing music.
