JTR Speakers amplifier selection

I have a 20a rated power strip, all 5 are plugged into that, and that goes to a single wall outlet. My landlord is willing to help install a dedicated line, but thus far... I haven’t needed it. Most of my usage is 2-channel audio, but even when I go 5- or 7- channel, I have only turned it up above -5dB on very few occasions, and usually -10 is as loud as I go.
To date, the most taxing thing I’ve done to my system is the Netflix Godzilla trilogy. But that was more on my subs than the speakers. But even those X-13s and the 2200s still played nicely.

Would not 11 transformers actually increase background noise? I know 1 can be quiet but 11?

What's the room dimensions again?

At 98dB/w/m sensitivity, the 3 front speakers will be playing 104dB from 18 FT away with only 20 Watts of power.

You assume no dynamics? I'm sure Jeff does large theater rooms, but ask him what he recommends

What is this overkill of which you speak?
Several have commented that if your aren't stressing your equipment, you will be getting the best performance and the best longevity...
My subs are overkill in my room and I only have the gain between 1/4 and 1/3, negative trim in the AVR.
And as I stated earlier in this thread, I probably don't come anywhere close to exceeding 2-4w per speaker when I listen.
I have the headroom I can use when I want or need, but the rest of the time, its a cakewalk.
I could have found more watts for less money... I could have bought fewer amps and relied on my AVR more... BUT!... I wouldn't change a thing.

Most agree that you don't need to match your Atmos to everything else. You shouldn't skimp on quality, necessarily, but you don't need them all tone and timbre matched.
Wish I had your problem, at least in this situation!
Considering you just bought 11 2200s, and 7 JTRs... don't see why you wouldn't go all in, at this point. You will have a system people dream of, I think. It would be the same if I had 5 Phil 3s and 6 BMRs. (Though frankly, I would settle for 2+9.)

I sent him an email a long time ago asking him for speaker measurements. He said he wouldn’t provide any speaker measurements. So after that I wouldn’t ask him anything.

The best Atmos speakers would be actual in-ceiling overhead speakers.

Could those JTR Slanted speakers be installed overhead?

With 8’ ceiling, you are going to be pretty close to the ceiling speakers. So the Klipsch ceiling speakers you mentioned would be good.

Not sure what the measurements would show, I'm talking about the ability to go from 60dbs to 115 without flinching. When I first heard them I was blown away by the larger than life sound.

It would show how the on-axis and off-axis FR look.

Pro speakers can go from 60 to 115 dB without flinching and play louder than life too.

There is a speaker for everyone. No big deal.

Some people think Klipsch sound “larger than life” too.

Sexy Piano Gloss Black RP-8000F for $750, Titanium Tweeter, Aluminum Woofers, Copper Aesthetics, +/-2dB superb on-axis, very good off-axis, and very good sensitivity.

I fell in love with Klipsch speakers because they sounded just like the big horn speakers at the cinema. They just sound so dynamic and larger than life...
