It's Yamaha for me at the moment. I have the rxa3040 and love it! It has performed flamelessly for me. Only down side is no 4k, and no Atmos.

Yamaha is my favorite brand of receiver because I have owned several over the years. I am making this post in order to be eligible to win the Marantz receiver 20year giveaway prize. Is this the correct place to make my post? I did not see any other link.

When I was young, I used to like Denon then Marantz because the price is more friendly for me. But since I know that Marantz was making with better components and some spec said it produced "warm* sound which is good for Klipsch speakers that I like. I changed my mind to Marantz which will last longer.

Obviously ymmv..,I just want to point out the fact that what you "heard" and "know" could be quite different. In this case, I know for sure, as I have seen the service manuals, that their recent models (e.g. 4400 vs 7012) below their flag ship models do share the majority (probably close to 100% except the Marantz has the marketing hyped up HDAM modules) electronic components. I also happen to have owned, and still do, products from both, including prepros, AVRs and separates so I am talking from experience too, not just by hearsay.

The so called "warm" sound is marketing hype/hearsay starting from the old days, in modern time, one should avoid any sort of intended sound signature because you may or may not like it. If such sound signatures exist and you can hear it that's great, but in most cases, people claimed they heard it because they were told it existed, creating the otherwise not audible effects from expectation bias. Nothing wrong though, all else being equal if you like the style and don't mind paying more. One of the issue of sound signatures is that if they do exist, then by default they are not transparent/accurate/neutral so if comparison listening sessions are not done properly, one might just pick the one that they may not like in the long run.
