I was not offended by the zone 2 suggestion and, in fact, it does have the advantage of independent volume control of both zones. But, you can see how much more complicated you made this issue by insisting that NO AVR's can run both external and internal amps simultaneously. That's simply not true, It would appear your A2 is an anomaly.
What did get me going was your blanket statement, and repeated insistence, that AVR's cannot simultaneously drive the internal amps AND an external amp. When questioned on it, rather than considering you might be wrong, you simply doubled down on pushing your mistaken belief in post 36 that it was the norm with another bogus statement is misleading to others who are still learning.
Posting from experience is good but that really depends on the experience one has. The more experience one has, the bigger basis for making statements. But when one has limited experience, one must keep in mind that it might not hold true for the big picture and try to not generalize. Many of us here have many years in this hobby and when many question something said, there might be some truth in their questions.
To put it simply, if the only rabbit you've seen is white, don't go around telling people that all rabbits are white.
