Keep in mind with multiple subs you have setup challenges to deal with other than just plopping them down where convenient (thinking back to the comment about most you've ever talked about speakers). So might want to review something like this https://www.audioholics.com/subwoofer-setup/multiple-subwoofer-setup-calibration-1
Thank you! Will save the link and read about it. Iv done reading and know some. And kinda "think" I know a fair amount. At least the basics. But as I have always loved music and awesome sound systems unfortunately my real life experiences have been hearing people's ht setup with no setup other than plugging the setup mic. Or you know a Bose system!

Well, no real Polk experience outside a neighbor's pair long ago that I don't remember a model number for (which were really nice to me at the time, very large and sounded wonderful)...at least as good as many JBL and AR and KLH and Advent speakers of the time that I had heard/had. Seems they're more mass market now since my experience at least.

Thoughts on what brand and series I should save up for as my front 3. I have only ever had polk. Kinda just stuck with what I first bought. But now I'm not sure. Seems polk is more for the guy looking for great sounding speakers for music. Not so much a home theater speaker. I really like the RTi line. But figure be4 I do any buying like with the subs I better ask

Klipsch and Polk are popular and distributed widely thru brick and mortar stores....the internet has another set of sources but without "auditioning" but as your room is a large component of resulting audio, the store environment/setup may not reveal everything you like/dislike. What kinda budget for the speakers overall? Near future? I'd replace them all personally....eventually.....older speakers can be put to use to surrounds, old surrounds to kids/workshops, all sorts of useful things.

Been looking still at polk audio and there RTi line is on a massive sale. There RTi flagship speaker is on sale from like 750 to 450 each. And I really like them. Next line up is about 2k each. Not in my budget the RTi a7 is on sale for 300 and a9 for 450. But even though the a9 says 50-500 watts iv heard they really need a pre amp. Very hungry! The a7 seems more logical. But I really like the a9

The RTis are decent speakers at those prices. I would also look at Klipsch Reference Premier speakers if you like to crank your system now and then. Hsu also has some quite powerful bookshelf speakers in the CCB-8s.

It looks like it could be good, but I want to see some real validation of their performance. Haven't seen any measurements that lets me know how those things really perform yet.

So if I just add a 500 dollar svs it would be best. Even over two psw110 or psw505
Definitely agree here. I upgraded from a psw110 to Pb-2000. Absolutely no comparison. These subs are not even in the same league as each other.

I’ve never had the 505 but from what I’ve seen on these forums the same could be said about it.

I’m a big fan of SVS myself but I read about the HSU VTF-2 MK5, it seems like a really good value.
