I think you would be ok with that. yup. Not much difference between the two subs... slightly latger box and lower extension on the 15, otherwise... they are almost the same beast.

Forgot slightly larger surface area x 2 No replacement for displacement! Got a good comparo between the two to show no other advantage to the larger driver?

I didn't see that you brought the 15H into it, my bad in missing that, thought it was a discussion between considering VTF2 and 3 like OP seemed to be wondering about...i think?

Yeah, that's where I ended up, built my own the last five. There are some different ways to go, sort of depends what you may have read about it so far.

Yeah the difference between the long running 15H vs the newer VTF3 mk5....they're not hugely significant but it is maybe in line with the price difference to an extent....

Really can't go wrong up in this area....or even the two VTF2 mk5s that I thought we had steered towards for some reason (that I don't see in reading back ).

Ok. Think I'm sold on going WAY bigger than I ever thought or expected to spend from my start of this post yesterday. I'm about 90% sold on doing the TWO VTF-3 MK5 subs. And down the road I can always buy another 3rd one once everything else is set.

Keep in mind with multiple subs you have setup challenges to deal with other than just plopping them down where convenient (thinking back to the comment about most you've ever talked about speakers).
