What to do? SVS PB-4000 or 2 HSU VTF - 15H MK2

So I am finally at the point of adding the sub to my theater room. I have a dedicated room 19' x 13' with 8' ceilings and 2 rows of seating. Speakers: PB 9060 and CS 9060 front stage, PB 9020 Surround, SR 9080 rear and 4 DI 6.5 in ceiling speakers. Any help would be appreciated.

Two ported 12in subs such as HSU VTF2 or Rythmik LVX12 or SVS PB2000.

One sub will sound ok but 2 will cover all the seats evenly. Good luck!

I own the PB 4000's and it's an awesome sub the best I love them so much but I have to say I ordered it in duals and wouldn't think of going with 1. My Dream is to have 4 subs in there someday. The more subs in the best spots you can find to spread them through the room the better your experience. No one sub no matter how good its performance can match that experience. Unless it's one of those crazy ones that costs as much as my house. Lol.
As much as I love my PB 4000's if you can get HSU in duals with that room size I'd say go duals all day. Besides HSU makes great subs as well. Can't go wrong with either choice

And I didn't realize your getting there 15 the VTF-15H MK2? In duals? Those subs would be epic in that room size for the PRICE of one 4000? Hell yeah man get those 15's all day long bro!

im in the same boat and am considering up to 4 pc 2000!
Sorry, mid burrito. I Like the VTF 15hmk2s, also for a small space, it might be worth looking at the Rythmik offerings like I am with the F12. If you are not trying to go super low on bass extension, a very well respected voice on this forum is also recommending the Hsu ULS15mk2s... 4 of those would be BONKERS in a room that size (between room gain and all).

I'm at about 2000'3 in the room I'm building for... was originally planning for an 8000'3 room!
Also, don't be afraid of the Monoliths from monoprice. Again, depending on your bass desire: the 12" will rock it. And the 15" will destroy it. Outlaw x-13. All are super respectable.

I'm strongly considering the PC 2000 from svs. want the Bass extension it offers. I can start with 2, and build to three within a few months. If I need a fourth, boom. I can see my 7.4 happening by 6-9 mos. out... maybe even 7.4.4? cheers and happy hunting!

Dude even in my big room area 4 PB 2000's or PC 2000's would have been awesome. In a room your size 2000"3 wow. That would have been craaaaaazzzzyyyyy

Man I decided to open up the 4000's in standard mode 3 ports open. To be honest I can't go back to extended. They sound so look too old in that mode. Besides they play down to 16hz anyway in that mode. Do I really need lower? Not like I could really tell the difference. Except for I like the way they sound in standard mode so much. Man when they open up full throttle it's friggin pretty cool. When I buy the Monolith 15's and run them in standard mode behind my couches combining with the PB 4000's I can't wait for that experience

My area is the exact same size as yours with two rows of seats, rear seats on a riser and to the left of my theater area opens up to rest of basement. I have 3 vtf3-mk5s and they are awesome, have the room and wanted a fourth but don’t think I need one. What I have now I am very happy with and recently dove into rew extensively with PENG from here. Bill and ryanosaur also helped me, definitely dive into rew if you end up with two or more subs, don’t be afraid to ask the questions you need answers to. These guys are great on here and will help you. I didn’t realize what I was missing with my bass until I really dove into rew. My bass is tight now and hits hard, vtf3’s barely break a sweat
