Problem with right channel output in Stereo Mode

Just recently acquired a Technics SA 700 receiver. The right speaker does not get a signal in stereo mode, but it does in mono mode. Any thought?

Just recently acquired a Technics SA 700 receiver. The right speaker does not get a signal in stereo mode, but it does in mono mode. Any thought?

The preamp section of the right channel has failed. In mono the signal is coupled prior to the power amps. So the left channel is being fed to right and left power amps in mono mode, but the right channel is still missing. It needs fixing.
