Ok thx. I’m still going back n forth between vtf3s n vtf2s, ridiculous.
First world decision problems :) It's not like either is a mistake. Balance out all the factors, you'll make the right decision.

I’m sure I probably already asked this but the vtf3s would have a lot more output than the vtf2s?

Define "a lot" . They have more, whether you want it or will use it is another matter. The load would be lighter on the vtf3s is the way I think about it. Looks by the numbers the vtf3 has a 3-6 dB advantage in general as well as more extension. Amp power is relevant to compare if the sensitivity of the system is the same, otherwise isn't particularly useful (and keep in mind it takes a doubling of power to gain merely 3dB spl).

I listen between -15 n -10, that’s dam loud in my room. I’m never at reference, so would it be a waste to get the vtf3s if I’m never at reference?

I don't call it a waste, but do you absolutely need the headroom or not or would notice particularly? Really can't answer that for ya. I wouldn't lose sleep if I got 4 Vtf2's on the other hand....

Want to be happy with what I get and do not want or feel the need to have to upgrade in a few years. I’d be in some trouble

I don't have a vote, but I'm stuffing a ballot anyway...VTF3...lol

Good luck with it.

Lol, I ordered 2 vtf3s about 30min ago. I wanted to order two more in December but I’ll see if I even need two more. Hopefully I can get placed right in my room

I just found where bought vtf3s last year. I would assume you still have them? Are they awesome? I’ll have mine Friday. Was it hard getting them setup?

Just a reminder of basics. Each room is pretty much going to be different and your room's size and layout is likely not similar in any case I'd guess.

I have a Dayton Omnimic kit as well as have used REW and minidsp. Did you also order a measurement mic to use REW?

I don’t have either yet. I’ve been reading about them for the last year. I’ve read rew is kinda tough to understand/use and obviously I’ve never used it. Those might have to be a Xmas from my wife to me after buying the subs yesterday. How well does it work?

I probably should of bought them earlier this year that way I could have learned how to use it
