LOL! It is a great tune! I remember a Beach Boys tune when they say "Try this Four Seasons!" , then Brian lets out an impressive falsetto. I can't remember the name of the tune, though. Dang it!

The song I mentioned earlier was "Surfers Rule," and the line "Four Seasons, you better believe it!"

Love the trumpets! Very relaxing music here @ryanosaur ! Excellent choice!
The lady and I enjoyed the Danny Glover cut. She was thinking about Marvin Gaye, but that falsetto made me think of Beck and what is clearly an homage to Prince. That Falsetto!!! ;)

It's been quite a slow Saturday! That's good, Saturdays and Sundays are days of rest and chilling. :)
I agree Ryan. I have been doing my laundry and attending to things that need be. I also cleaned up my BPAP machine as well. Will do some basic cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming tomorrow. Plan to get some rest as well as I am still NOT 100%. My stomach has been acting up all day. Hope that you are having a very good day yourself. Have a good evening Ryan! :)

This thread has been too fun, and too inspiring. Needless to say, I'm dusting off the digitals in my hard drive.

I was classically trained. Then jazz trained. This is when I started to grow up and really learn about the world around me. My apologies for dropping 5. Maybe a few will understand.
When you internalize a feeling and a sound, and the emotions that helped create it... to say it is "powerful" is leaving something on the table.
Here are a few of the more inspiring cuts from when I was learning what it meant to swing. To let it all go. To feel the moment. To just be: with myself; an-other or several-other musicians; to forget about time in the linear sense, rather to converse in tone and space and rhythm.

I could go on; there is so much more. I look forward to more sharing. Best to all.

Hey guys! Happy happy Sunday! Hope church was good for those on here who are Christian or religious. Mr. Phil @speakerman39 , hope your stomach problems have dissipated or have gotten better in general. Things are going well on my end. Just sitting here at my aunt and uncle's chilling out.
Godspeed ya'll,
Ryan

Hello Ryan. Been a bit busy today and a bit lazy. Did manage to get a few things done though. Anyways, thanks for the well wishes. Glad to hear you are very well. Have a good night. :)

Hey guys. I wonder if there's ever been an Audioholics convention where fellow members of Audioholics could meet up, show their audio equipment, talk, and just chill with each other. @gene , has this ever happened? If not, that might be a cool idea. It could be based in Florida, the state where Mr. Gene lives, of course. It's just an idea of mine, if it hasn't already happened.

Ryan I am sure some of the members here have met in person. In fact, I have met a few as well. I would be up for a get together if it is not too far away. However, Florida would be too far for me. Perhaps, something more central would be more ideal. :)

What do you mean by central? Maybe something like Tennessee?

Parts of TN may be doable on my end. Thus, I would be willing to drive up to 4-hours one way. It is very doubtful that I would be willing to drive further. I suppose it would be that way for many of us here. That, of course, depends on their respective location.:)

Cheers,

Phil
